Palace Ico. Feel the History.
On the volcanic island of Lanzarote, surrounded by the cobblestone streets of the Historic Villa of Teguise, Palacio Ico awaits you. An exclusive Boutique Hotel designed to make you feel unique and special, like each of our 9 suites and rooms.
The building that today occupies Palacio Ico was built around 1690 and has been carefully restored to make all the elements of traditional Canarian architecture shine and preserve. César Manrique, the most international artist of Lanzarote, included in 1973 this property in “Lanzarote, unpublished architecture”, a reference book of insular architecture.
Stroll through our Canary-eye patio, feel the warmth of the wooden tea and mulberry floors, lose your sight in the coffered ceilings of more than four meters high, listen to the silence provided by its wide stone walls… You’re in history. Feel it.

“Timanfaya is the only place in the world, among those I know, where the tired saying that an image is worth a thousand words takes on full meaning”.
“I visited Lanzarote, in the company of César Manrique. The island is one of the few places in the world where we can still contemplate the surface of our planet in the embryonic state, that it should have had millions of years ago, when perhaps man had not made it’s appearance on earth, the island was already a complete work of art. ”
“The island itself is sublime in art”.
